Installation

  1. Download ZIP file
  2. Log into your TYPO3 backend
  3. Go to Extension Manager module
  4. Press the upload button on the top bar
  5. Select the ZIP file and upload it. If you want to overwrite an existing extension installation, activate the checkbox.
  1. Go to your folder where the root composer.json file is located
  2. Type: composer require autodudes/cheddi to get the latest version that runs on your TYPO3 version.
  1. Download T3X file
  2. Log into your TYPO3 backend
  3. Go to Extension Manager module
  4. Press the upload button on the top bar
  5. Select the T3X file and upload it. If you want to overwrite an existing extension installation, activate the checkbox.

ChEddi is beta. The feature set and the HTTP contract can still change between minor versions, so pin a version and read the release notes before upgrading.

It requires EXT:ai_suite (12.22.0 or newer), EXT:ai_suite_mcp (0.7.0 or newer) and the TYPO3 system extensions workspaces and scheduler. The chat never talks to AI providers directly: every turn goes to the AI Suite Server, which holds the credentials, so an AI Suite account with credits is required. There is no bring-your-own-key path for the chat.

Web research is off by default and experimental.
